It's the weekend and we're back at the "Niederrhein", close to the dutch border, since Thursday evening.
This time it's not so quiet and peaceful. The police found the body of a dead girl just a few kilometers away from where my boyfriend lives. She was the victim of an act of violence, someone smashed her head with a bat, that's all they known until now. No family, no relatives, no one who could tell anything about her. It's scary, really. Seems like everyone we meet these days is talking about it. Hope they catch whoever is responsible for this pretty fast.

So now, how do I change my topic that it doesn't look rude? Difficult, probably I should just try to go on somehow...*sighs*

I got a call yesterday from S'oliver (yes, clothing) in Essen. I applied for a job there, almost four weeks ago now. Well they asked me if I was still interested and would like to meet with them next friday. I said yes so ... any opinions on what to wear to such a job interview???? Modern and showing that you're interested in fashion or more the classy look????

We're going to the movies tonight. Watching "Marley and Me". I can't wait and I hope that it's good fun. I just love dogs. :-)

Oh and something for tinini on the never ending story of guys guys guys ;-) My ex boyfriend (well sort of, it was more a teenage friendship nothing big), called me just two days ago after we haven't talked to each other for almost a year, asking me to help him organize our class reunion. Sure, he always remembers me when he needs help, for the rest of his life he seems to get along nice without me. I think this time he can deal perfectly fine without my help. ;-)

After some month of non-updating I finally decided to start posting again, :-) There will be some changes though. I'm planning on keeping this journal friends only and maybe during the next days I will change the layout (again).
So I'm asking everyone on my friendslist please write me a short note if you still wanna read my journal.
I will also start creating icons and banners again whenever I need a time out from studying and of course post them here.

looks like a giant washhouse. At the moment there's fog everywhere, but I'm quite comfy sitting in the "Kurhaus" using w-lan and tininis cause my battery has run out. This is simply perfect and so much better than any internet-cafe.

It started to rain again one hour ago. Too bad, as we have to go up to the jump in about 20 minutes. No change in sight. Anyway still hope we'll have as much fun as during the last days.

I do miss my BF though. Really sad that he can't be here. But I'm looking forward to seeing him again next Thursday.

Hello everyone out there on my FL, just wanted to let you know, that yep I'm still alive and writing in here.

Think before I start on what's new in my life and why I didn't update during the past few weeks I have to send out a huge SORRY esp. to my closer friends whiskeygirly and tinini for not calling, writing or sending text messages as often as usual. I'm really sorry hope you're not mad at me. I promise to do better! =)

So here are the news: I'm gonna be in Rome from Thursday till Monday with my boyfriend. *smiles*

Yes boyfriend. Me and my best friend finally managed to become a couple. This is why I didn't update and wasn't available during the past weeks, we really needed the time for ourselves to sort everything that has happened in the past out. Don't wanna go into details here, cause this is far too private. I'm really happy and in love at the moment, that's all I'll tell in here. ;-)

Visiting Rome: I'm so much looking forward to it. This is what we have been talking about since we knew each other. Can't wait for Thursday to come. I've never been to Rome before, so I'm quite excited. *giggles* We have free internet use at the hotel (as far as I know), so I'll be able to check here every now and then during the trip. =)

Hope you're all doing fine, missed you all and I'm happy to be back on LJ!

I'm up early *sighs* Seems like I'm finally getting so used to being up at 6:30 a.m. during the week that even on the weekend I'm not able to sleep longer... If it stays like that the next weeks I think I'm gonna use the time for learning Uni stuff instead of staying up late.

Anyway I was just reading through my FL and found this 80's quiz "Are you a child of the 80`s" *giggles* Well yes I am as I was born in 1981 but I only got 48% maybe that's because the 80`s over here in Germany were a bit different to the USA. There was one question that made me laugh.

Looks like today's gonna be pretty boring. It's saturday and I don't know what to do or where to go. I had planned on reading some stuff for Uni but at the moment I just don't feel like doing this any time soon. *giggles* My parents will be going over to my mums best friend sometime in the afternoon that means I'm all on my own... sounds like movie night =)

Bremen lost the match today, which means Schalke is still on top. *happydances* Don't get me wrong I really like Miro Klose etc., in fact I can't decide on a favorite German soccer team since the WM, but everyone over here in my hometown is so enthusiastic about Schalke being able to win the title. I'm not a Schalke 04 fan, no way that was a long time ago, if any team it still is maybe ManU, but anyway this town needs every bit of "pride" it can get. =) So I'm keeping my fingers crossed hope this works out, the party would for sure be awesome!!! It was so much fun listening to the radio and hearing all the people scream outside whenever Bielefeld was able to score. *smiles*

The lecture for tomorrow evening got postponed, which means I will be at home early. Good thing, gives me time to read my Uni books. =)

that's come and gone, can't believe how fast time flies by during the term. *sighs* No more than eight weeks and we'll have exams again *shudders* No I don't want to think about that now.

So friday is now the day of the week I'll spend at the office working. *smiles* This goes along perfect with my lecture times. =)
Today was quite relaxed not that much to do.

Afterwards Mum and me went shopping, but didn't buy that much. Maybe we were both too tired.
(@whiskeygirly I saw Stefan or 'Hako' as he's called. Remember him and the rest of the band? Arnd, Karim etc.? *gg*)

Looks like the weekend will be a lot of work, considering the time left till the exams *argh*, I really have to see that I get some of Uni stuff done. Maybe a list would be a good idea...tomorrow *giggles*

Had to take a day off at Uni today and go to work. Actually it was my first day at the office after the internship and nothing changed *gg* Everyone is just as nice as before.
There was a lot of work to be done, but I managed quite well (or so I hope).

Our chief lawyer was mad at me because I wrote a message to Markus during the last week and not to him. *laughs* Anyway, gave his book back to him today (the one by Rebecca Milne) and he told me the author might be in Düsseldorf sometime during this year for a lecture. I'm so gonna go there, this for sure will be interesting.

Had a chat with Markus about the problem with mum's car and just as I thought, I was right about the fact that my parents shouldn't have payed for the repair. *sighs*

Tomorrow is another day at Uni, the last one for this week, cause there are no lectures on friday. Called my auntie this morning and asked her whether she'd like to meet with me in some café and she agreed, so I'm really looking forward to it. Just the two of us, we didn't do that in years. =)

The weather should be awesome today, or so they say (sun's still behind the clouds here), hope it's really gonna be that way.
Gonna meet whiskeygirly in Duisburg later and we'll be going to the "Innenhafen" or the city, not sure yet, to sit in the sun and maybe drink some nice non-alcoholic cocktails *giggles*. I so need to be outside today =) Think I'll take my camera with me. ;-)

Uni was okay, not as boring as I thought it to be and my cousin, bless him, sometimes gives quite smart advises. *smiles*

Why is it that on days when you can sleep long, you're most certainly up early. I'm wide awake since 6:30 am and I only have to leave here at 9:15 am. *sighs*

Lea wrote me a text-message that she won't be at Uni today because of sickness, so I'm all on my own, cause Rachel and Daniel decided yesterday that they want to call it an early weekend. :-/

I had a nice chat with Stefan on ICQ yesterday, pretty interesting. Seems like he finally found someone. *smiles* He said he'll tell me the whole story at the weekend, can't wait. ;-)

After wards I watched the new episode of MLD, which maybe was a mistake... I cried throughout most of it... Perhaps I'm just too emotional at the moment, feeling a bit like a roller-coaster ride.

Think I'm gonna go get myself some breakfast tea. *yummy*

First day at Uni, during this term, on which I had to get up at 6:00 a.m., after a night of little sleep, cause my knee was hurting again. Suppose I will get used to getting up early again within no time, but today, geez, I was sooooo tired.

The profs made it quite easy to listen to them, which is a huge bonus, I have to say. Seems like I'm pretty lucky this term.

It is good to finally see all my friends again, missed them during term break (some more some less ;-)). Some of the news they'd got to share weren't that good, me thinks Daniels news were the highpeak of all, or maybe this is only because I never expected it .... in the end, one thing's for sure, this term can only be better then the last.

Not concerning the mensa though, what we had to eat today tasted....ugh *shudders* I'll definitely not eat there again this week!!!

*sighs* So we arrived back home save only a few hours ago and I already wish I could go back. Yeah I know it always feels like this after a holiday... and still, and still...

Anyway the new term at Uni will start on Tuesday for me and I have to work and make it a good one (another one like the last is in no way acceptable to me). Got my goals set, which makes it all much more fun, knowing that maybe a change is possible after this term. *gg*

I'm far too tired to post pix today, so I'm gonna do that tomorrow. Right now I only want to go on reading my new book and eating the rest of the Mozart chocolate granny gave to me. *smiles*

OMG I almost fell off the sofa last night while watching telly. After all the shopping and arriving back home between 8:30 pm and 9:00 pm I decided on DSDS and dozed throughout half of the show. Because it was boxing night (Virgil Hill vs. Henry Maske) somewhere near to the end of DSDS they showed Florian König over in Munich doing some Interviews and guess who was standing right next to him? HANNI!!! *smiles* It's so nice to see him again on telly. *gg*

Henry Maske won the fight *yeah* and now I'm a bit sad that I didn't watch it. (too late, too long and I would have been far too nervous *gg*) I don't like boxing at all , but Henry Maske is something different.

I'm trying to get ready on time for my aunties Birthday brunch, though I really don't wanna go there.... und ich wollt ich könnt mich drücken vor dem Klatsch und dem Getu' *sighs*

Let's see how I'll think about all this in a few hours ;-)
